Tournament Application

The 20th annual SAC Columbus Day Tournament takes place in both Columbia and Edgewood, MD, at the home of SAC, Covenant Park, and the new Coppermine CopperPlex. This event is open to all levels of competitions for Boys and Girls ages U8-U15. The format for this event will be Championship style, with the first and second place team within each bracket receiving awards. The number of brackets will vary in age group based on the number of tournament entries.

Event Details

The Applied Teams link for 2025 will be posted close to the Application Deadline. Schedules will be posted September 26th. Please be sure to continuously check your team's schedule, as locations, times, and days are subject to change leading up to the event. All scheduling requests are considered by the tournament committee, but not guaranteed.

Application Deadline: Wednesday September 10th

There will be a $100 late fee for all applications received after the application deadline. Any team that applied after the application deadline will not have guaranteed acceptance into the tournament.

  • Payment Details

    A separate performance bond of $350 is required for U14 & U15 age groups. If your team does not forfeit a match or violate the tournament rules the bond will not be cashed and will be destroyed after the tournament is completed.

Team Check-In

Due to Event Sanctioning, ALL players must have a valid player pass. NO Birth Certificates will be accepted/allowed.

  • Online Check-In

    1. Official Roster through USYS, US Club, USSSA, or SAY
      • Please handwrite jersey numbers if not included
      • Please handwrite guest player names and jersey numbers to the bottom of the page
    2. Official Player Passes to match roster
      • No birth certificates accepted
    3. Tournament Liability Waiver

  • Booking Requirements

    • All non-commuting teams participating in the tournaments must book their hotel accommodations through Halpern Travel, our Official Tournament Housing Partner.
    • Please do not call the hotels directly
    • Rooms must be booked through the tournament reservation link provided by Halpern Travel or by calling 888.640.6400
    • Teams within a 100-mile radius of the tournament venue who plan to commute are exempt from the housing police.
