Events Manager

Job Summary

The Events Manager will help with the planning and execution of Elite Tournaments events, which will include assisting with league partnerships and all events associated. The Events Manager will also be the Tournament Director for events as assigned by the VP of Soccer. This position encompasses a wide variety of planning and management responsibilities while maintaining a high level of customer service through the progression and completion of the events.

Responsibilities

  • On-site director for specific league events (DPL, EAL, GA) and other events as assigned
  • Coordinate event suppliers and vendors for events, as assigned
  • Develop, manage, and execute equipment distribution plans for field and site set-up and breakdown methods
  • Serve as a Tournament Director for Elite Tournaments owned and operated events, as assigned
  • Review, negotiate and secure venue contracts for all events as assigned
  • Introduce the Event Order to venues and track all deliverables specific to the event to ensure all tasks are completed, organized and shared with the venue contact
  • Procure and forecast equipment and supplies needed to conduct event operations to include but not limited to ordering and coordinating with suppliers while serving as the company liaison to venue operators (i.e. portable restrooms, PODS, commercial and utility vehicles, field liners, ice, table and chairs, etc.)
  • Work with the Operations Department on tasks related to all events as assigned (i.e., local workers, packing, equipment, setup, etc.)
  • Ensure that all deliverables/requirements with venue operators are executed

Event Operations Associate

Job Summary

The Event Operations Associate will assist the Chief Operating Officer and Operations Manager with the planning and execution of all Elite Tournaments events. This position encompasses a wide variety of planning and management responsibilities while maintaining a high level of customer service through the progression and completion of the events. Main responsibilities for this position include maintaining a safe work environment in the warehouse, providing inventory control and distribution management of equipment for events, and projecting supplier needs and placing corresponding orders.

Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site event and venue management during tournaments and events
  • Develop Project Management Plan, Communication Plan, and Risk Management Plan for assigned events
  • Project out, prepare, and stage all equipment needed for Elite Tournaments events; safely and efficiently pack vehicles
  • Evaluate equipment both pre and post event to ensure the items are in proper working condition, while also keeping an updated inventory throughout the year
  • Manage inventory and distribution of all equipment to include Elite-owned and client-owned items
  • Assist with the management and maintenance of all company owned vehicles, golf carts, and trainers to include scheduled maintenance and upkeep
  • Ensure that warehouse and corresponding equipment storage areas are in working order and are well-maintained
  • Conduct facility site visits and maintain database of facility assets and operational details
  • Connect with suppliers to establish and maintain effective ordering timelines

Social Media Coordinator

Job Summary

Elite Tournaments is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Social Media Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and executing social media strategies across various platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, and others. The Social Media Coordinator will create and curate engaging content, monitor online conversations, analyze performance metrics, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance brand visibility and engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a content calendar for Elite Tournaments and individual events
  • Develop and execute social media campaigns that align with event goals, helping to drive awareness and attendee engagement
  • Ensure all social media content aligns with the company’s overall brand guidelines and event themes, maintaining a cohesive look and tone across all platforms.
  • Stay current with the latest social media trends, event industry news, and platform algorithm changes to keep content innovative and engaging.
  • Assist with graphics requested from the tournament directors on upcoming deadlines, etc.
  • Create custom graphics and promotional materials to accompany social media posts
  • Produce and edit video content for platforms like Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube that promote event highlights
  • Assist in the coordination and implementation of freelance photographers and videographers for applicable events
  • Supervise and mentor Content Creator Interns, assigning tasks, providing feedback, and ensuring content aligns with brand standards and social media strategy.

Event Staff - Temporary

Job Summary

Event Staff work with full-time Elite Tournaments staff to execute onsite tournament operations. Event Staff may fill various roles during a tournament including, but not limited to, site coordinator, field marshal, score keeper, event setup/breakdown, parking management, and other duties as assigned. Event Staff will be the front line of customer service assisting players, coaches, and spectators during the tournament.
