West Friendship, MD – February 18, 2026 – Elite Tournaments is excited to announce a new partnership with ViCoverage, powered by Vertical Insure, to provide teams with an optional insurance solution designed to protect against weather-related tournament cancellations.

Beginning in 2026, teams registering for select Elite Tournaments events will have the option to add Team Coverage from ViCoverage during the registration process. This coverage is designed specifically for sports organizations and offers reimbursement of non-refundable registration fees if a tournament is cancelled due to unsafe playing conditions caused by severe weather.

Covered conditions include, but are not limited to, rain, snow, ice, hurricanes, high winds, lightning, and extreme heat.
