The Spring Shootout powered by Elite Tournaments is a one-day tournament held on April 4, 2026. This event is open to boys and girls teams of all skill levels ages U8-U19. All U8-U15 teams are guaranteed three (3) matches, and U16-U19 teams will play two (2) games. Awards will be given for all division champions and runner-ups. All games will be played on turf fields at the Coppermine CopperPlex in Edgewood, MD.

Event Details

The Applied Teams link for 2026 will be posted close to the Application Deadline. Schedules will be posted April 4th. Please be sure to continuously check your team's schedule, as locations, times, and days are subject to change leading up to the event. All scheduling requests are considered by the tournament committee, but not guaranteed.

Tournament Application

Application Deadline: Wednesday March 4th

The 2026 Spring Shootout will follow the Birth Year age grouping. Teams must play at the age group of their oldest player. For example, if your team is a combination of players born in 2014 (U12) and 2015 (U11), the team must play at the 2014 (U12) age group. Teams that apply to the 2026 Spring Shootout can purchase an event cancellation insurance policy through US Sports Club Insurance (USSCI) directly from your team’s GotSport account. This Policy can be purchased up to 15 days prior to the start of our tournament. Reimbursement of entry fees, for eligible teams, will be remitted directly to the individual, or organization, that paid for the policy. All purchased policies are a contract between USSCI and the purchaser. Elite Tournaments will not be the issuer of refunded entry fees, only USSCI will be.

  • Payment Details

    There will be a $100 late fee for all applications received after the application deadline. Any team that applied after the application deadline will not have guaranteed acceptance into the tournament.

    *A separate performance bond of $200 is required for U13-U19 age groups. A performance bond will only be cashed if your team withdraws after being accepted, forfeits during the event, or breaks a ‘major’ tournament rule.

Team Check-In

Due to Event Sanctioning, ALL players must have a valid player pass. NO Birth Certificates will be accepted/allowed. For U13-U19 age groups, only up to 18 players are allowed to be dressed in uniform on match day.

Hotels

Elite Tournaments is pleased to announce the appointment of Halpern Travel as our official Tournament Housing Coordinator for the 2025 Spring Shootout.

  • Booking Requirements

    • All non-commuting teams participating in the tournaments must book their hotel accommodations through Halpern Travel, our Official Tournament Housing Partner.
    • Please do not call the hotels directly
    • Rooms must be booked through the tournament reservation link provided by Halpern Travel or by calling 888.640.6400
    • Teams within a 100-mile radius of the tournament venue who plan to commute are exempt from the housing policy.
