Elite Tournaments Lacrosse Expansion for 2016

Elite Tournaments Forecasts Lacrosse Expansion for 2016
RENOWNED LACROSSE COACH AL HERNANDEZ JOINS ELITE TOURNAMENTS AS THEY EXPAND INTO NEW MARKET

COLUMBIA, MD – Elite Tournaments is thrilled to announce that they have expanded their company to include a lacrosse division. This branch of the company has been in the research and development stages for some time, with three trial events that took place in 2014. After working with multiple lacrosse organizations and learning more about the logistical differences between lacrosse and their already specialized soccer sector, Vice-President of Business Development Matthew Libber knew that expansion into the growing sport of lacrosse was a natural progression for the company.

“Soccer and lacrosse events operate in similar fashion, so expanding into lacrosse will be a seamless transition for Elite Tournaments. We are looking to bring the same level of professionalism that we have become known for in the soccer community to the lacrosse world,” stated Matthew Libber.

While Elite Tournaments has taken their Mid-Atlantic based company and expanded nationwide with soccer events over the last decade, it was evident that many areas throughout the country could benefit from lacrosse events as well. Al Hernandez has joined the Elite Tournaments staff to pave the way for 2016 events to become a reality. Hernandez is a local resident and former standout player with an extensive background in coaching and organizational fundamentals. Elite Tournament President Michael Libber stated, “Adding Al Hernandez to the team was a fitting move. Al has great reputation within the lacrosse industry and will provide Elite Tournaments with the leadership needed to be successful in the lacrosse sector.”

Elite Tournaments current marketing and operations staff will support Hernandez to ensure that all events are held to their current standards and professional quality.

In 2016, you can expect between two and four events to take place during late fall. Hernandez is currently in the planning stages and is targeting areas in the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast for October, November, and December events. Additionally, Elite Tournaments is currently meeting with major players within the lacrosse community to further develop their presence for 2017.

“I am excited to help develop Elite Tournaments’ Lacrosse division. With the tremendous growth of the game, there is a need for an event company to lead with integrity. We will be driven to provide a first class tournament experience that is focused on the players and their families. I am looking forward to working with all the coaches, club directors and league managers at every level of play who are seeking to participate in and host the best lacrosse tournament experience for their communities, ” stated Hernandez.
