Angel Park Volunteering

Hey guys- Elite Tournaments checking in to see how the summer has been going! Our staff has been pretty busy traveling, enjoying the weather, and preparing for all of our great fall events. That being said, we managed to sneak in some time to have fun, while immersing ourselves into a local community. The entire staff at Elite took a day off from tournament preparation and swapped out their e-mails for power tools. (Scary, we know!)

The beneficiary of our sweet skills: Angel Park Playground, located in Perry Hall, MD.  This all-inclusive facility was designed as a special place for community families of all shapes and sizes. Sporting unique playground equipment such as slides for the hearing impaired, lower monkey bars for wheelchair bound patrons and braille identification panels; Angel Park is making sure that everyone can experience the joys of childhood. Inspired by a local family who lost a young son to Leukemia, the park was brought to life to honor all of the special “angels” who leave lasting impressions in our lives on a daily basis. Elite Tournaments challenges our staff and all of you to go out there and be someone’s angel today!
