Welcome to the 20th annual SAC Columbus Day Tournament! This event takes place in both Columbia and Edgewood, MD, at the home of SAC, Covenant Park, and the new Coppermine CopperPlex. This event is open to all levels of competitions for Boys and Girls ages U8-U15. The format for this event will be Championship style, with the first and second place team within each bracket receiving awards. The number of brackets will vary in age group based on the number of tournament entries.

*A separate performance bond of $350 is required for U14 & U15 age groups. If your team does not forfeit a match or violate the tournament rules the bond will not be cashed and will be destroyed after the tournament is completed.
*As of November 2022 GotSoccer will charge a “GotSport Software Fee” at each payment transaction, and for each registrant, in order for your team to register to participate with my Club or in a Tournament.
*There will be a $100 late fee for all applications received after the application deadline. Any team that applied after the application deadline will not have guaranteed acceptance into the tournament.

HOTELS
Elite Tournaments is pleased to announce the appointment of Halpern Travel as our official Tournament Housing Coordinator for the SAC Columbus Day Tournament.
All non-commuting teams participating in the tournaments are required to book their hotel accommodations through Halpern Travel, our Official Tournament Housing Partner. Please do not call the hotels directly; rooms must be booked through the tournament reservation link provided by Halpern Travel or by calling 888.640.6400.
Teams that are based within a 100-mile radius to the tournament venue and are planning to commute are exempt from complying with the tournament housing policy.
Halpern Travel comes to us highly recommended for their commitment to providing professional service and for their attention to detail. They have extensive experience in tournament housing coordination. Halpern Travel secure, online hotel reservation system allows teams to view information about hotels, including rate, area location and amenities. Teams are able to reserve their rooms and to make changes to their reservations 24/7.
Clubs requiring a large block of rooms for multiple teams should contact Halpern Travel for special assistance at 888.640.6400.

DONATION DRIVE
Elite Tournaments and SAC have partnered with Casey Cares to host a pajama and gift card drive at the SAC Columbus Day Tournament. Inspired by the memory of a Casey Cares child, this program provides new sleepwear and pajama-themed parties to children on extended hospital stays. The pajamas give children the comfort of home in an otherwise sterile environment. Their goal is to provide more than 8,000 new pairs of pajamas to critically ill children this year alone. Their biggest needs are always infant sizes and teen/adult sized PJs but they accept any new pairs of pajamas. Please keep tags on them so our families know they are new! Gift cards can also be donated in any denomination. Some examples of their preferred stores and restaurants are Panera, Subway, Walmart, Target, Dominos, Pizza Hut, and any local grocery store.
All items can be dropped off at the headquarters location of each tournament site. If you have any questions or would like to donate and cannot attend the event, please contact Cam Griffin at [email protected].
