The Baltimore Junior & College Showcase presented by Under Armour will take place Thanksgiving weekend, November 26—28, 2010. Premier, elite and classic brackets may be available, depending on entries. The referee mentoring program, the only program of its kind in United States, returns for the 4th year. The Baltimore Junior & College ShowcaseTournament Presented By Under Armour is open to all competitive premier and elite club teams. This is a USYSA sanctioned tournament through the Maryland State Youth Soccer Association. All teams must be affiliated and their players registered with USYSA through their respective state associations or US Club Soccer. Teams must be in good standing with their state association to play in our tournament.

Age Groups & Eligibility
Open to all boys and girls premier, elite and classic teams U12 - U19 with 3 brackets in each age group (dependent on entries)
- U12 and U14 - $800 for 3 games
- U16 - U19 - $875 entry fee - 3 games, plus a separate forfeit bond check of $250
Permission to Travel Forms are not necessary for Region I teams unless from New Jersey or Connecticut. Validated State player passes with photos, official team rosters and medical release forms (non- notarized) will be required of all teams accepted into the tournament. All required information will be asked for at the tournament registration.
If you have previously registered for another tournament whose applications are processed by gotsport.com, you will already have a team page in their system. If this is your first application to a tournament processed by gotsport.com, you will create your team page at the start of the application process.

NOTE: Applications are not considered complete until the tournament committee receives full payment for the tournament entry fee.
To avoid any delay or confusion, please send your tournament fee payment check by postal mail to Championship Tournaments immediately after you apply online and receive your application confirmation number. You must enclose a copy of your confirmation e-mail with your check to assure your check is credited to the proper team. Mail requiring a signature (certified, registered, etc.) will not be accepted.
DEADLINE: Deadline for on-line registration and completed application (see below for list of all enclosers) is October 10, 2010. Applications received after October 10, 2010 will be placed on a waiting list.
ENCLOSURES: You must submit by the deadline in one envelope:
- Your confirmation of registration from gotsport.com.
- Check, money order or confirmation of credit card payment for the full tournament fee payable to Championship Tournaments (U.S. DOLLARS ONLY). Application will not be considered complete without payment. If your team is accepted, the fee is non-refundable. If your team is accepted and later withdraws, the fee is non-refundable and sanctions may be placed against your team for participation in future tournaments. Should your team not be accepted, the fee will be returned by October 25, 2010.
- Separate check, made out to Championship Tournaments, for $250 . This check will only be cashed unless your team forfeits their place in the tournament or a game within the tournament weekend. All forfeit bonds not cashed will be destroyed at the end of the event. Performance bonds are required by check regardless if your team pays by credit card or by check.

ACCEPTANCE:
Acceptance notification will be posted on this web site by October 20, 2010. Upon acceptance, teams will need to complete a number of tasks, including:
- Booking hotel reservations with THS. A link to THS will be available on this website on September 1st. All teams that are accepted in this tournament and have a need to stay overnight must use the THS reservation system. This is a "stay-to-play" event. If your team will not be "day-tripping", it must arrange lodging through THS. You may contact THS by going to their website, www.thsweb.com . THS has reserved rooms for Elite Tournaments events throughout the year, including dates when housing is in short supply. If these rooms are not consistently utilized, we will not have the cooperation of the hotels when we most need them. We appreciate your cooperation with this required policy.
- Teams need to enter the names and uniform numbers of their players for use in the tournament program on their specific SoccerScheduler team page
REGISTRATION: Registration will take place 1 hour before your teams first kick off on Friday at your first games' location.
Teams are required to present at registration:
- State Association or US Club Soccer approved roster plus submit a copy of that roster
- Player cards for each player, including guest players
- Non-Notarized medical release for each player, including guest players
- State Association approved permission to travel form (not necessary for Region I teams only NJ)
- Please add any guest players to the bottom of your roster.
Games, Rules, Awards
- For all age groups, the format is four games. One match on Friday, two matches on Saturday, and one on Sunday morning.
- All games are played in accordance with FIFA rules, except as specifically modified by Tournament Rules. A full set of Tournament rules will available online by clicking Rules in the left menu
- No Awards are presented, but the champions and finalists will be posted as the tournament is completed.
Rosters & Guest Players
The following are the maximum roster size per age groups:
- U12 - U15 - 18 players
- U16 - U19 – 22 Players, but dress only 18 for any given game
A team may use no more than (6) guest players, which must be approved by the Tournament Director at registration.
